What syllabi do you cover?

I cover the new A-level and GCSE mathematics and physics curricula. I also teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB physics HL and SL and mathematics HL and SL). I am an examiner for the IB HL mathematics paper 1.

Are you a qualified teacher?

Yes. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the UK. I also completed a PhD in Physics (1994) and a BSc in Physics (1988). I have been teaching since 1996.

How do you present your lessons?

I use Zoom web meetings to present my lessons. I write using a digital pen on the shared screen and all notes are saved in Microsoft Onenote, organised and retrievable online.

What resources do you use?

I have many of my own resources and exam boards make available a great deal of useful material. I list many of these in my blog. There are also dedicated websites which have revision material, notes and much more.

Which schools have you worked in?

I have taught in a number of international schools which cover the British curriculum. These include Kuwait English School, Waterford Kamhlaba United World College in Swaziland, the British International School Bratislava and Sønderborg International School in Denmark.

Do you currently work in a school?

No, I now work for myself full-time as a private tutor.

How do you accept payment?

I accept bank transfers (I invoice monthly) and card payments over the phone too.
