Book Online Tuition

Online tuition is becoming the only realistic option for tutoring these days – and it can be as good as face-to-face tuition.

But how does online tuition work? I use a reliable video conferencing tool called Zoom and write on the shared screen with a digital pen. All notes are recorded, organised and retrieved using Microsoft OneNote, included in all Windows systems and available for Macs too. The student can also interact on the screen using a digital pen.

Watch me explain more in this video clip from 2019.

Hello, my name is Alan Evans. I’m a maths and physics tutor based in Tbilisi, Georgia. I tutor all levels of maths and physics including GCSE, IGCSE, A-level and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I’m a qualified teacher and I’ve been tutoring online since 2013. I qualified in 2000 but prior to that I started teaching for Voluntary Service Overseas, which is a charity. My first teaching job was in Zimbabwe in 1996. Shortly after that, I came back to the UK, qualified as a teacher and I was teaching in a variety of international schools in the UK and overseas in Africa and Europe.
